10 INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT Dr. APJ ABDUL KALAM.

 

Let's Remember the True Hero: Dr APJ Abdul Kalam. He was born and brought in a very humble family in Rameswaram. His father was a Great Boat man and mother was a House wife.. He was struggled a lot during his childhood but he is a committed man and believes in Dreams and Action. He was a very Ordinary Man with Extraordinary Mind. A normal News paper distributor went on to becoming a one of the highest post in the country i.e. President Of India throughout his journey he carried Simplicity Integrity Honesty and Gratitude.. 

Let's see some of the interesting facts about his Journey..

1. Raised in Very Poor Financial condition

His early childhood was difficult because of the poor financial condition of his family. So, to support them, Kalam used to distribute newspapers in early mornings. There was a time in his school days when he didn’t have enough money to pay the fees.

2. He was a very Quick Learner

He was a very quick learner and was quite enthusiastic at his studies. He was appreciated by the fellow students and the mentors for his diligent work at the Thumba Space Center.

3. A Compassionate Kalam.

He his man with much Kindness, When he was in DRDO, In one of the meeting Officials said to give some protection to our campus it's good to keep broken glass on the wall for the Protection But Kalam said NO. Because it will harm Birds  this incident clearly tells us how wonderful personality kalam was.

4. The Missile Man..!

I will quote 3 Reasons for this
he was the think tank behind India’s first indigenous Satellite Launch Vehicle (SLV-III).
 he was the Project Director of India’s first satellite ‘Rohini.’
 when in DRDO, he was the chief of the Integrated Guided Missile Development Program and developed 5 missiles: Nag, Akash, Trishul, Agni, Prithvi

5. Definitely Deserved That..

In 1997, Kalam was honoured with the Bharat Ratna, the highest civilian award of the Republic of India, by K. R. Narayanan who was the then President of India.

6. Addressed 400 Students without Electricity
After becoming the President of India in 2002, he was supposed to address students at a school function. But when he reached there to start his speech, the electricity suddenly went off. Instead of complaining, he asked the students to gather around to listen to him.

7. A secular who loved to play Veena
Although he was a Muslim, he used to read both Bhagavad Gita and Quran and along with that; he was an expert in playing Veena.

8. Simple Living and High Thinking


Throughout his life, he led a simple life even after reaching to the highest post in the country. In fact, he is considered the symbol of simplicity in India. He came to the Rashtrapati Bhavan with a suitcase and left with the same.

9. The man who received 48 Doctorates.
Generally we struggle to get one degree or one doctorate but Dr Kalam is really Brilliant who received 48 doctorates combining from India and Abroad

10. A Nobel Demise
He dedicated every single minute of his life serving the country which is justified by the fact that even few minuted before his demise on 27 July 2015, he was delivering a lecture at the Indian Institute of Management Shillong
